Writings:
Since retirement I
have devoted myself to writing rhymed, metered poetry, mostly based on Biblical
accounts. I have published over 300
poems, including five books, “Women of the Bible: Their Stories in Verse,” (45
poems, c. 2009), “Men Who Knew Jesus Well,” (49 poems, c. 2009), “Prophets of
the Old Testament, (51 poems, c. 2009), “Words Jesus Spoke – In Verse” (67
poems, c. 2010), and “The Psalms – In Verse” (150 poems, c. 2011). The poems
have been given over a dozen awards, including several Master Poet awards from
the Society of American Poets. I am pleased to have done many public readings
of my poems.
