– Member Biography –

Patricia (Patti) Richardson was
born in Seattle Washington and raised in the Everett area. She
and her husband, Tom moved to Deer Park in March of 2006. Patti
has been writing poems and articles for family and friends since the seventies. After moving to the East side of the state she joined
Poetry Scribes of Spokane. She represented the club as
the 2006 Lilac Poet and is currently the Vice President. She
has had poems published in the newsletters of the Spokane Audubon Society, The
Appaloosa Museum in Moscow, Idaho and the Clan Forsyth Society, which is
published and sent out internationally. She has also
had poems printed in the “Good News” newspaper and in Nostalgia Magazine. She has had an article printed in the American Teacher,
which is the national publication of the American Federation of Teachers, and
several articles in the newsletter of AFT Washington. Her
goals are to edit and publish her book about sharing friendship while
struggling with cancer. Also, she
intends to publish a book of poetry.
