Ferenc and Jolene Weller Fehér
ASAP Secretary 2000-2001

“I spent 43 years writing lesson plans as a full-time occupation. (School marm!) Somehow managed to my poetry in little notebooks all around and about. Finally getting them all together and sorted out and stored in the computer. Had a few poems and short stories published in anthologies over the years. Self-published a collection this summer. This title is It’s My Life. Did this mostly for family and friends. Edited the collection Before I Forget, which we published for the Hillyard Writer’s Group in September.

I keep mailing out and carrying around bits and pieces to possible takers. Currently working on two short books...one of poetry and the other of memoir, attached beloved family recipes. Nothing spectacular, just have a life long love for the written word.”

Jolene and her husband Ferenc live in Spokane. Ferenc is a big help and supporter of SASP.
