Member Biography

Esther Hildahl

Esther J. Hildahl was born in Olympia, Washington.  Though she has lived most of her life in Washington State, she has also lived for shorter periods of time in Oregon, Montana, and California.  She has traveled extensively in the United States, Mexico, and lived in Europe.

She graduated from EWSC (now EWU) and taught grades four and five at Jefferson Elementary for nineteen years.  She has many interests, one of which is writing for children.  Esther hopes to self-publish one of her five books this spring or summer.

She currently resides with her husband, Robert, and their toy poodle, Charlotte, at their home in Spokane, Washington.
