Peggy De Hart
Phoebe Doris Eaton De Hart,
(Peggy), was born at
World War Two, 1943 found Peggy hired by the Western Defense Command and
Fourth Army to work in
Peggy and her husband were 27 years in business. After his death, Peggy worked at Children’s
Hospital in
Peggy began to collect data for a book in 1961. In 1990 she began to write. In 1993 she copyrighted her first book,

In January 1997, Peggy appeared in
a documentary, “RIDING THE RAILS’, shown at Robert Redford’s SUNDANCE FILM
FESTIVAL. She was the only woman in the
film, which was then shown on National Public Television, AMERICAN EXPERIENCE:
RIDING THE RAILS, in 1998, 1999, and 2001.
Peggy is still writing and busy with family and church. She is now living near her son I Spokane,
Washington. Peggy worships God, travels
and fishes at every opportunity.
