John Church Fran Church
John Church, author of Pasadena Cowboy , was born in Los
Angeles and lived in nearby South Pasadena until entering the USAAF in 1943.
After returning from service as a navigator in the air corps, he received his
AB and MBA under the GI Bill at Stanford. His business career ranged from
foreman in a Procter & Gamble soap factory, through business consulting
with Booz Allen & Hamilton in the US and Europe to executive positions in
major Wall Street investment banking firms Morgan Stanley and First Boston. He
was listed in Who's Who in America in the 1970's.
John and his wife, Frances Conover
Church reside in Spokane, WA. In recent years he has devoted himself to
writing, enjoying his family, photography, and to mastering some of the
computer skills required to design and publish books.
