Member Biography

Local author, Bobbie Colliton Ochse, wrote “Nana’s Magic Closet” as a whimsical way to introduce her friend Flibberty Jig. He is a magical gnome who visits little children when they have a fear of sleeping away from home. He lives in Nana’s closet and only shows himself when the children are fast asleep. Waiting for morning, will never be the same after a visit from this little fellow.

Bobbie was born and raised in Spokane, Washington and has been married to her spouse Jerry, for almost 40 years. Together they have 5 sons, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Time spent with family and friends has always been very important to her.  Completing this children’s book has been on her list of “to do’s” for almost as long as she has been married. She hopes that this is just the first of many adventures that Flibberty Jig will share with his readers.
